The Wrightington Hotel, Health Club & Spa

We held a baby shower for our friend at the hotel. I can not thank Sean and the staff enough. Baby made an appearance early so we were unable to hold the shower on the date agreed, they were brilliant and navigated everting for us with such amazing support. We managed to move the date to a more appropriate one with baby in attendance. On the day the room was perfect with an amazing layout. Our lunch time afternoon tea was amazing, the service was fantastic and the team looked after us perfectly. Thank you all for your support both before and on the day, honestly I will definitely be back for all my needs in the future for any events.

I got married here in October. What a venue - it was perfect for travelling family - the restaurant food is top quality, the pool, jacuzzi and steam room are top notch as well as the gym being one of the best around the equipment is second to none. The breakfast was also impressive, the buffet had such a great selection. On to the wedding Sean and India kept in touch since booking, always on the end of an email and during the day Sean couldn’t do enough. So many people passed comment on how hard working he was and amazing at his job. I wouldn't have changed a thing about the day Sean made it all go so smoothly. As well as the Blazers suite being the perfect layout the staff working were all smiley and helpful. I highly recommend this as a wedding venue.

Really amazing clean rooms. Staff are exceptionally accommodating and the food is just next level. Really good quality food and good wine selection also. I went for a course and it was decorated lovely. Regret not going to the spa but others said it was good.

I spent the Weekend on an organised Retreat and I couldn't have wanted for a more welcoming, helpful and comfortable stay. The staff were absolutely wonderful, so accommodating for all our needs. The room for our retreat was just perfect. Meals lovely, rooms very comfortable. I didn't use the spa facilities, but only heard good gings from my friends who did. Thank you

My husband and I stayed for a night over the weekend to celebrate our 10th anniversary. The room itself was simple, clean, and equipped. We used the health club facilities: swimming pool, steam room, sauna, and jacuzzi. Everything was really good and clean. All the staff were friendly and attentive. Thank you for the night. Highly recommend this hotel.

Chloe was very friendly and welcoming, the spa was warm, cosy with a relaxing vibe. I particularly liked the offer to enjoy the relaxation room after treatment however I would have appreciated knowing this in advance so I could have come prepared/factored that into my timings. The treatment was really nice.

I had the most wonderful girls spa day today! The spa is beautiful and tranquil, and the staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. I had a facial and head massage and it was utterly divine, the therapist was brilliant and tailored the treatment to my needs! We then were able to use the pool, jacuzzi and steam room facilities and they were lovely. I felt truly relaxed and enjoyed the time there. We then had an afternoon tea which was delicious, very fresh ingredients and a fab selection of savory and sweet items. Again staff were so friendly and helpful and just really nice experience and day. We both felt very well looked after and spoilt and will definitely come again!

The staff were very helpful and courteous. The food was nice and the evening meal was well presented. Although paying for late checkout and leaving the 'do not disturb sign' on the door, the cleaners still insist on knocking. Same issue elsewhere makes me think that the reception don't update the cleaners to which rooms have late checkout. The changing rooms for the pool are basically a corridor in and out of the facility. Not the best design or idea.
